Following the latest Government announcements it is clear that these remain uncertain times and that a degree of risk to public health sadly still remains. Foremost in our minds is the need to safeguard our vulnerable rural community, guests, staff and family. We must therefore all continue to make sacrifices and exercise caution in all aspects of our daily lives.

Whilst we are prepared to take every reasonable precaution to keep our premises safe we have no wish to allow our standards to drop or make any rash decisions and policies simply to open our doors.

In addition current social distancing and PPE requirements will prevent us from offering the level of Highland hospitality and convivial atmosphere we desire as well as preventing operation at full capacity forcing a position of having to cancel bookings and disappoint a proportion of our loyal regulars.

Having given careful consideration to these factors we have made the sad decision to remain closed for the remaining 11 weeks of our 2020 season.

Please note that during this time all hotel fishing waters will remain closed and as such no day permits will be issued.

We would like to once again express our sincere thanks to the many who have shown continued support. We look forward to reopening in April 2021 and very much look forward to seeing as many of you as possible then. In the meantime we hope you all continue to remain safe and well.

With best wishes,

Richard, Fiona, Charlotte and Anthony
