Deposits and Cancellation Policy
Deposits are required in order to secure your reservation. These can be made via credit, debit card or electronic bank transfer. The full cost of the first night of your stay will be taken as the deposit.
For cancellations or curtailments within four weeks of the commencement of your stay we reserve the right to charge for the full cost of the accommodation. With any cancellation we will do our utmost to re-let the accommodation and will waive any charges subject to being able to do so.
For cancellations more than four weeks prior to the commencement of your stay we will refund your deposit less a £30.00 administration charge.
In the unlikely event that we are forced to cancel your stay due to matters outside of our control we reserve the right to postpone your booking to a later date or issue a credit note against any payments made by you or on your behalf rather than issue a refund. In the event that we are forced to cancel a portion of our bookings to reduce occupancy to fulfill social distancing requirements we will operate a last in first out policy based on timing of booking and deposit payment.
All cancellations must be communicated via email. Failure to notify us of a cancellation will result in the full cost of the stay being charged.
We strongly advise all of our guests to take out travel insurance against any unforeseen cancellations.
Please note that the above policy does not apply to group bookings which will be handled on a bespoke basis.
In the event of any force majeure preventing the operation of the hotel for part of or the entire duration of your stay we reserve the right to postpone your booking to a later date or issue a credit note against any payments made by you or on your behalf rather than issue a refund.
